This summer, bond with your dog through exciting agility training
Summer is the time to get outdoors with your dog, so why not enrol for agility training? Our dogs are not just pets to us – they’re part of the family. So why not use the warmer weather as an excuse to bond with your fur child and learn something new in the process? Here’s why agility training is the summer activity for you!
- It will get you outside
We live in an era where staying indoors can be all too comfortable, but everyone needs fresh air and sunshine, including your dog. Joining dog agility training classes will give you the motivation to get off the sofa for a while. - It will improve your bond
Your dog is your companion, so learning something together will strengthen your bond and build trust between you and your four-legged friend. - Agility training is good exercise
All dogs (and humans!) need regular exercise. Sure, you walk your dog every day (or at least you should be) but agility training will be an added boost of exercise to keep your pooch in great health.
Our indoor facility (one of the largest of its kind in Chicago) has a competition-style agility training course where you and your dog will have a fun time building a working relationship together. Your dog will learn how to go through tunnels, weave through poles, and even go over jumps. We offer three levels of training in agility which means you can start with the basics and work all the way up to an advanced level.
K9 University doesn’t just do agility training. We offer every type of dog training, starting with the basics of puppy training and obedience training, to full K9 nose work classes, private lessons and more. Let us help you and your best pal become even closer with our qualified team of trainers who will guide you on your training journey. Contact us to find out more information.
